Benefits of a pup massage

Dog massages offer numerous benefits for your furry companions. A massage promotes relaxation and reduces stress, just as it does in humans. Gentle strokes and kneading can release endorphins, helping dogs feel calmer and more at ease.

Pup massages can also enhance circulation and lymphatic drainage, aiding in the removal of toxins from their bodies and boosting their overall immune system. Routine dog massages can help relieve muscle tension, joint stiffness, and even alleviate pain in dogs with arthritis or other mobility issues. Incorporating massages into your doggo’s routine can improve their well-being and happiness, ensuring they lead a healthier and more enjoyable life. Schedule an appointment for your pup today and start their journey to well-being.

Relax.

Fellow pet lover! Did you know that your pup can get stressed and anxious just like us humans? It’s true! But not to worry, there is an easy and comforting solution! A soothing pup massage can help them relax and ease their anxiey. Not only will a pup massage reduce their stress levels, but it can also provide other benefits like aiding muscle tension and promoting their overall well-being. Plus, your furry best friend will feel cherished and loved after a nice massage. Why not give it a try and see how relaxed your pup can become?

Relieve.

If you are considering getting your doggo a massage, learn about the benefits to their health first. A major advantage is improved blood circulation – a massage stimulates blood flow which helps deliver vital nutrients and oxygen to tissues and improves immune function. This increased circulation promotes muscle health and helps in healing and keeps your pup feeling their best. Plus, it’s a great way to improve their flexibility and balance which can help support a healthy activity level.

Revive.

It’s amazing how much canine massage therapy can assist your doggo in so many ways. If your pup has undergone surgery or suffers from an injury, massage therapy can aid in the healing process. It helps reduce inflammation and can benefit in tissue regeneration while alleviating pain and providing comfort. As for your older pups, a regular massage session can help them maintain their joint mobility and lessen the effects of stiffness, ensuring they are active and comfortable into their senior years.

Bonding and trust building

The benefits of dog massage services are significant and go beyond physical health to encompass emotional well-being. From stress relief and improved flexibility to accelerated injury recovery and bonding, a dog massage can offer a holistic approach to caring for your fluffy best friend. Hi, I'm Marisa!

A SoCal native with a large tight-knit family, Marisa can trace her passion for canines back to the sun-soaked family get-togethers of her youth, playing with her family’s dogs. *psst, don’t tell her beloved pooch, Valentine. He thinks he’s the only one.

Knowing she wanted a career in the healing arts, Marisa started out in massage therapy (for humans), before realizing her passion for pooches was just too strong to ignore. She quickly found herself graduating from the prestigious Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, with high honors, and was immediately hired as a Certified Veterinary Technician under the tutelage of the nation’s top rehabilitation veterinarians. Their mentorship & guidance reinforced the benefits of healing touch during rehabilitation, leading Marisa to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse (CCRVN), through the well-respected Canine Rehabilitation Institute.

When she’s not helping doggos “live their best life – pain free & full of energy”, you can find Marisa and Valentine running some of the many trails sunny San Diego has to offer.
